Likely . . . yes, and no.
You can probably electrically swap the radio electronics, LCD screen, etc (not including any special Bose system wiring), but you would have to take it to a dealer to perform an programming operation. All the computer modules including the radio, are "married" into the GMLAN system. VIN numbers are stored as well as other data so the radio would need to be programmed for the particular vehicle it is being swapped into.
The modules such as the BCM communicate with all other devices in the vehicle. But any new module or device like a different radio needs to be identified to operate in the vehcile.
