I have a 2014 GMC terrain four-cylinder. Runs great Wellen park. Put it in drive and give it a little bit of gas and she starts to search wants to jump. Replace the purge valve and the throttle position sensor. A.k.a. throttlebody. Still no change, I pull up to a stop sign and she just sits there and Sergis wants to stall. Don’t know where to turn to next.
Runs beautiful in park and under load. As soon as I start slowing down and come to a stop it starts surging and feels like it wants to still. If I put my foot on the gas and feather it it smooths out. If I put it in park it smooths out.
i believe you have a cam actuator solenoid issue but what's odd is they usually set a code but not all the time.they are cheap enough to just replace them both. get a gm set though, the aftermarket ones don't seem to hold up
