Guess there's not a lot of 2012s out yet for people to know. :-[
Have your questions been answered about the vehicle? I can also look into this for you as well. Please feel free to contact me privately for more iassistance.fullcourt said:I am trying to find out more info about the 2012 Radio choices also.
I have an insurance payoff, and want to purchase a 2012.
I went and looked at a LTZ that had a non NAV radio, and it looks pretty slick with the color menus. I have not seen a 2012 NAV radio yet.
From what I have read maybe on this forum, engineers from GM have said that the more advanced radio with bluetooth streaming will be coming out toward the end of the year, and I have also seen that this new radio will not come with the NAV units.
But don't hold me to any of this.
I am going to contact GM to get more info. The dealers are just getting up to speed with all of this.
thanks for the review. I liked my 2010 Equinox NAV radio, until it had problems that lots of people have had.jordan said:My only minor complaint is that the Pioneer speakers sound OK when using the XM and better when connected to my iPod. My opinion is that the door speakers and tweeters are marginal. After a few months plan to upgrade to Polk speakers.
Thank you, Tricia, for helping with this request. I will keep looking into it from my end. Hopefully it will be added to the EQs soon.Chevrolet Customer Svc said:fullcourt,
I was able to look into this for you and found that it is in development but not available and an ETA is currently not available. I would recommend continuing to be in contact with your local dealer for further information. Thank you.

Thanks, amp. I found that having an onboard NAV was much more convenient than dealing with a Garmin unit. Lots of people have had negative comments on the NAV unit, especially since it was a $2,100 option. I am glad that the price has dropped to $700. The space on the hard drive seems to be gone, but I did not use it that much, and I am wondering if that part of the system caused the many problems that I and others had with the more expensive NAV.ampdigitl said:My 2012 SLT-1 with Nav finally came in last week. I like the Infotainment center, but I am not able to do voice dialing with phone book entries on my iPhone 3GS. Hopefully either Apple or GM will fix that. Otherwise, I love it! The xm is shaky though, but I'm a former Sirius user. It only takes a tree branch to knock the connection out in this vehicle. I had a Pioneer U310-BT in my previous car with sirius and it didn't go out as much . My wife's 2011 Tiguan with nav has a much better connection to sirius as well. Plus you cant transfer a sirius account to an XM radio so they had to refund me for the rest of the year that I had paid for. I miss Sirius NFL radio and all the games but I will add that once the trial is over
The Terrain's nav is better that any that I've used, very nice. I love the way that it handles POI. I love the Pioneer speakers. I thought that I would need to upgrade to a JL Stealthbox, but the current sub is holding its own. Hopefully the rest of the features will be added in a future update!
My dealer told me that the nav price dropped on the terrain because they moved the backup camera from the rear-view mirror to the center console. So basically everyone has the Nav screen now. The Nav info is now on an SD card instead of a hard drive, so that may be another reason why the price dropped. It's definitely worth playing with to see if you like it...fullcourt said:Thanks, amp. Does the new nav still have the ability to pause live radio?ampdigitl said:My dealer told me that the nav price dropped on the terrain because they moved the backup camera from the rear-view mirror to the center console. Bump- I've got a nav-less 2012 2LT, and would like to know if it is possible to add navigation as well.Mikejustowns said:Can the dealer add nav with the infotainment? Anyone use this with pandora yet?
