I own a 2017 Mazda in which I permanently leave an iPhone cord plugged in the USB Port. Never affected the battery.

Just bought my 2011 Terrain and was wondering if it was the same here, or if it could drain the battery?

The only USB port in your 2011 that is hot Key/Off, Engine/Off is the one in the rear by the tailgate.
That is assuming someone hasn't changed some of the wiring.
Very common for someone to add a hot wire for a charger or radar detector in the console.

My 2014 is the same.

Someone must have made a change, thus the disclaimer in my post #3.
I know this because I did the same on my 2014.

From GM:

The Accessory Power Receptacle #1 and #2 in the Center Console and the Instrument Panel Receptacle "cigar lighter" is powered by the Retained Accessory Power Relay.
The RAP relay is controled by the BCM and powers the circuit for 10 minutes or less in most cases.

The Accessory Power Receptacle "Rear Compartment" is powered directly by fuse #26 in the Underhood fuse block.
