In the owners manual it says to pull fuse 32 , the discrete logic fuse. What does this do to prevent the battery from going dead. When I pull this fuse the only thing that happens is you can not get the key out. Lights inside , radio, AC fan all still work and you can still start the engine. Does anyone know what this does, Thanks Jim

I haven't tried this mode, but there are sensors which are connected somewhere on the negative battery cable circuit to monitor voltage, temp, current, etc. Based on these readings, it can put the generator into charging mode, fuel saving mode, voltage reduction mode, along with a number of others. My guess guess is that it disables these sensors and goes back to a more traditional charging mode to ensure the generator doesn't enter a low output state based on the sensor seeing the right temps and voltages.
