I'm one of several registered members on this website who ordered a 2011 Terrain.
My dealer and I negotiated a price based on a formula (X amount over 2011 invoice price). The dealer exchanged info with me on how much the vehicle would cost based on 2010 model year pricing with the options I selected for informational purposes only. (At the time the 2011 prices were not known) The final sales price is dependent on 2011 invoice prices for the vehicle.
Normally, I would go to one of several internet sites to secure invoice pricing (edmunds, truecar, kbb,..), however, there does not appear to be info on the Internet regarding 2011 pricing for the Terrain. I did notice that on Edmunds, they now have a tab for the 2011 Terrain/Equinox and there is a slight price differential between the 2010/2011 models. For example, the base MSRP for a 2011 FWD SLT-2 Terrain is listed as 29,650 MSRP/28,168 Invoice as oppossed to 29,550 MSRP/28.073 Invoice for the 2010 model. There is a similar differential in price for the Equinox FWD LTZ trim.
Have any of you guys/gals come across any info regarding MSRP/Invoice pricing for the 2011 model year? Considering there aren't much of any changes in the vehicle I would not expect much of a change. On the other hand, given how popular this vehicle has been for GM, I'm also somewhat apprehensive about a steap price increase. :-[
Any responses will be sincerely appreciated.
