Nope - didn't get bombed. Haven't had a drink for almost 2 years !

Oh, snow-wise ? We got about 18" total. But, it was very wet, heavy stuff. I guess some call it a "widow-maker" snowfall. Why anyone wouldn't own a snowblower is beyond me. Oh, I guess it depends on where you live ! Location, location, location.

Only 11'' here at my spot in the NY ADK, hour away 30''. Snow bands were spotty. My place in NJ only a couple inches on the grass.

Ahh, you guys talking about NE have me feeling all nostalgic. Go Bruins.

I remember watching this game live when I lived in North Quincy in the early 70s.
I was like 11 years old.
Bobby Orr, Esposito, Cheevers, Johnston, Cashman, Sanderson, Bucyk, Hodge, etc.
Good times.

Ha! You're the same age as my older brother ... but I'm pretty close behind. I started watching the Bruins a couple years before they made that huge trade with the Rangers in '75: Esposito & Vadnais for Ratelle & Park ... so I got to see all those guys you mentioned at the very end of their careers. At the time of the trade I remember thinking "how could they trade Esposito?" and "how good are these other guys they're getting in return?" ... but it ended up working out in the Bruins' favor. Ratelle and Park were great for years after, exciting playoff teams year after year ... but they could never seem to get by the Canadiens... they had so many good players! I remember all those Overtime games, staying up late with my Dad and brother. Fred Cusick and Johnny Pierson would have Nate Greenberg on (good-luck charm) ... my Dad would get up from his chair to use the bathroom and say (through a heavy laugh) ... "you know who's gonna score, right (??) ... it's gonna be GUY!! GUY!!" ... and he was usually right! It was Guy LaFleur .. or one of the other many "flying Frenchmen"!

But I'm very excited for this year's team. They seem to have all the right stuff. Just hope they get good goaltending from Ullmark and Swayman ... like they never seemed to get from Rask (in the playoffs) when it really counted (except in 2019 when he seemed to suddenly be possessed by the ghost of Tim Thomas, standing on his head, making every save ... until ... at the very end ... he didn't ... and they lost that Game-7 to the Blues 4-1 at home!!! Terrible! Terrible!

Anyone have the part number for the camshaft position sensor? Amazon gives me like 3 parts and none look the same, and i did look at autozone, and it does match one but looking to see if anyone else has info befor i buy another wrong part. I have a 2011 terrain SLT v6 3.0L that is tossing a p0017 code... also tossed out a p0172/175 for rich fuel (ran seafoam and it cleared out that code) but now its looks to be the 0017 code standing strong. Also.... should i replace the VVT Solenoids as well, or leave'em be?

Odds are, like my car, the timing skipped. You're probably best off doing the timing chains. I'm almost at that point. I was quoted $3200 to do the chains. I'm almost tempted to buy a local 80K mile engine out of a buick that was rear ended, go through it and put new chains and gaskets in it and then have the engine installed in mine. Mine has a few dastardly codes but it still runs and drives pretty well. Or I could do nothing and wait for it to really fail then do it. Decisions decisions. New car prices are out of control. Nice to see some New England folks here. I escaped to FL a few years ago....no more snow.

I ordered a 23 traverse, ordered with stuff I needed. No extras.
Jan 19 order placed.
Took 7 weeks to be delivered to dealer.
It was also below msrp.
None of that market conditions extras that were being added to many cars.

You piqued my interest, so I just did a couple of quick "Build & Price" on a 2023 Traverse (Note: 3.6L Engine is standard on all trims):

LT with Cloth Seats:

1.) FWD
2.) LT w/cloth seats
3.) Paint: white
4.) 18" Standard "painted" Aluminum Wheels
5.) Standard seats
6.) "Enhance Your Driving Experience" Options: None.
7.) Exterior Options: None.

Total: $37,045+$1395 (Destination Charge) = $38,440 - $1,000 Rebate = $37,440 Net Cost

8.) Add "Convenience & Driver Confidence" Package : $1295
  • Remote Start
  • 8" Color Touchscreen (NOTE: May not be available for Cloth Seat option?)
  • Heated Front Seats
  • 4.2" Color DIC
  • Universal Home Remote
  • Power Programmable Liftgate

Total Cost (adding #8 to LT w/Cloth Seats): $37,440 + $1295 = $38,735

=====
LT with Leather Seats:

1.) FWD
2.) LT w/leather seats
3.) Paint: white
4.) 18" Standard "painted" Aluminum Wheels
5.) Standard seats
6.) "Enhance Your Driving Experience" Options: None.
7.) Exterior Options: None.

Total: $40,740+$1395 (Destination Charge) = $42,135 - $1,000 Rebate = $41,135 Net Cost

... not sure how much more you're getting for the $4,000 extra cost. I thought there used to be a "Compare Trims" option on Chevrolet.com?? I tried bringing up another Browser Window using Explorer or Firefox, but neither one filled out the screen ... just the header ... and everything else blank ... like it was deliberately blocking me...

$4k for leather is outrageous. The aftermarket ones by katzkin are much nicer leather and a fair amount cheaper, last I checked.

Yeah ... I don't know if that's all you get for that extra $4,000. I gave up trying to easily compare trims. It seems like they don't want you doing that anymore ...

I'd like to keep my next purchase right at, or preferably under, $30k. I don't need the size of the Traverse anymore ... or even the Blazer/Acadia, for that matter ... so I should be able to accomplish this ...

Colt, by the time you break down and buy new transportation, the likelihood you'll find 4 wheeled transportation for 30K or under is unlikely. But not all is lost, you can be true to your moniker and get the 4 legged mode of transportation for that kind of money as long as you're not shopping at Churchill Downs, whinny! :ROFLMAO:

On my 23, i chose seating for 8.
(Same price for bench or captains just have to specify which). I also wanted the tow package and cross rails.
I added the Driver Convenience package. Which adds the bulleted items above. Its a $1295 option.

So it looks like you can save about $2400 if you go with the Cloth seats (versus Leather), and then add the "Convenience & Driver Confidence" Package" for the $1295.

What's not totally clear is the 8" Color Touch Screen upgrade. It seems to say it's only available with the LT and Leather seating (or the RS)? But it also says "Included in Package" when you get to the "finish line" for the LT w/Cloth seats.

Did you get the Cloth Seats?

Yes, I have cloth seats. With the 8 inch color touch screen thats part of the convenience package.
The package includes a slightly bigger color info screen in the dash... between the speedo and tach.

The 8 inch screen comes standard in the leather trim... along with the remote start and the other features.

The LT cloth does not come with these items as standard.
If you want them, you have to get the convenience package.

Font Screenshot Number Document Parallel

It was those first two bullets that I found confusing. First of all ... why is it there twice, and secondly ... why does it makes it sound like they're going to strip out the 8" touchscreen if you don't get the RS or LT w/leather seats? They should change this wording...

So it looks like with the the Cross Rails and Trailering Pkg added ... you came in just under $40,000! I guess that's an accomplishment nowadays ...

When you go through the trim levels many options are included in each trim level as standard when you move up the trim level ladder.
Some option packages overlap with included options in some trim levels so you may see included on a window sticker.
Convenience and Plus packages may be lumped together in a trim level and some packages may have a 1 or 2 level within a package itself adding features with cost.
Picking up my '23 Silverado LTZ on Saturday and trading in my '11 Tahoe so I've been neck deep in Chevy research.

Then add taxes and fees.
