Hey guys!

I bought this car with a blown engine. I swapped the head and it runs very smoothly now. It idles and drives pretty well as long as I press firmly on the gas pedal. However, if I press lightly, it dies, on park, drive or reverse. No codes are triggered.

I smoked tested for vacuum leaks, I cleaned the throttle body, I swapped the camshaft actuators, no change.

Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

Others who know your vehicle better will chime in, but it could be fuel pressure. I dont know what you used to scan the vehicle but it needs a total csi to help get to the bottom of it. As its a 2011 the GDS2 program would be one to use and run all codes. At the very least it will tell you the fuel pressure.

Thanks for the reply! I measured the fuel pressure with a good old dial indicator since there's a Schrader valve close to the regulator. It was perfect.

My scanner is a bluedriver android program. It's pretty good but obviously not complete. I never heard of GDS2 but I'll look it up! Thanks!
