Well do the glass shop it went, paid the deductable for the insurance BCAA. The guy at Speedy was stunned to see the $1800.00 cost for the window. Due to the dual layer glass with a lamination for safety film in between the layers of glass.
Now we have to take it back the window motor has to work hard to get the window up. :![]()

One would think there would be a markup on the glass and then add in replacement...cottonseed said:I had my drivers side front window replaced also, the shop charged $6XX.XX for the glass and labor. I was going to order the window and replace it myself but the cost of the window was the same price as my deductible so I had the shop do it and also repaired some unrelated dings in the door also. The guy at the shop you went too must have a drug problem to be charging 3x the price of the already over charged $6XX.XX
