I have a 2010 nox , 4cyl., with 1400 miles on it. About 5 times now, after taking off from a stop, i experianced what seems to be a hard transmission shift from i believe 3rd to 4th gear. Kinda makes the car buck when it shifts. You can also hear a clunk at the same time. Anyone experiance this problem. I already talked to my dealer, so i have it in their records.......

The 6 speed tranny is computer controlled...the dealer service department should be able to reflash different software (I believe there are at least 2-3 versions) until you find one that shifts the way you think it should.

I have a 2010 4 cyl. Terrain that also had this happen to. It has actually happened 3 times and I only have 1800 miles on it. After the 2nd time it happened I took it to the dealership and they could find no codes but they knew of the problem. It sounds like it is happening to a few people with Terrains or Equinoxes. He said that there is nothing they could do at this time because mine had all the updated tsb's. I'm waiting for a new tsb and I'm glad that I am not alone. Maybe if the word gets out more, GM will work on a new program for the transmission.
