First off I'm sorry to hear about your ongoing family issues, I certainly hope things will get better soon. My first question was why would anyone want to go through all of this hassle to paddle shift an Equinox?. But after watching your video, I now understand!. But what would be the difference with your paddle shift install and using the +/- switch on the shifter in "M" mode?. I have read that the switch should not be used as a "sport mode" shifter, but rather sort of a gear holder when driving on hilly or mountainous terrains. But wouldn't it be almost the same? (unless the PCM wouldn't allow it to be shifted like the paddles in "M" mode).

Oh my gosh (!!) ... if I drove my Equinox like that I'd be lucky to make "The 61 Club!"!
