Some of the 4 cylinder engine reviews that I have read online makes it sounds like a lot of these 1.3, 1.4, and 1.5 turbo engines are mostly a 150,000 mile throw-a-way engine. This included an engine review I found about the GM 1.5 engine. That is not saying that the car itself is junk at 150,000 miles. I am not a high mileage driver so I am not worrying about it. It will be interesting to see how the 2018+ 1.5T Equinox/Terrain vehicles do in reaching 200,000 miles.
200k on 2.4L engine
well everyone I finally did it. 200k on a 2013 Chevy equinox 2.4l ecotec
Engine rebuilt at 117k by dealer, original tranny with only 2 fluid changes.
