I just wanted to introduce myself. My name is Jay and I purchased a GMC Terrain SLT-1 on Feb 27th!! Unfortunately, I could not find my vehicle in anyone's inventory so I had to order one from the manufacturer. I was told at the time that I would need to wait 4-6 weeks. Well, I was just told my car won't even begin production until April 12th!!! That changed my 4-6 weeks to more like 8-12. Im wondering if anyone else has experienced such a LONG wait time??

PS - I am a former Dodge Charger owner and was very active over at chargerforums.com - so I look forward to partaking in this new community!!

2-3 months and more is pretty much the norm. Do a "search" and you will see everyone's tales of woe. Myself. I waited 4 1/2 months. I may be one of the longest waiters. Seems like mine was assembled by hand !

However, it is a great car, and worth the wait. Sit back, and enjoy the ride.

I ordered mine on December 4th and was just given a build date of April 12th, so feel lucky that you don't have to wait that long. I was told 12 weeks initially, but after getting my build date and expected delivery date, it'll be over 20 weeks.
