Speed Governed...according to the display.

The I4 FWD has some boogie...The car was extremely quick from 80 to 112 for a 4 cylinder brick!

Controlled test facility of course.
;D
Sure it was.

I went to pass someone the other day and looked down and I was going 85.

You have no idea what the posted limit was. Are we supposed to be impressed by your post?
what does a speed limit have to do with going 85? it doesnt take anything to get to 85....even on my old 60* ill be cruisin along at 85....doesnt feel a strain till 95....hell my 2.0 in my mz3 kept steadily climbing till 110 then it really crawled....

and i wasnt looking for you (with 4 posts) or anyone else to be impressed....but what you did inspire me to do was hit the ignore button....bye bye...

Lets see.
My 68 camaro went 165
My 64 Malibu SS went 145 with a power giuld in it.
Went 125 on a Kawasaki Triple 500cc H1 in the 1/4 mile
Had the cruse control set at 135 in my 92 camaro for 30 minutes.

So
I was still surprized that the Terrain got up to 85 as fast as it did.

To many cars on the road here to go that fast most of the time.
On I35 your lucky if you can go 35 mph.

My point was the naturally aspirated 4cyl had a 3600lb vehicle to 112mph.

Technology sure has come a long ways. ;D
I wonder what the actual top speed would be on the I4 and the V6? The speed is currently electronically limited due to the speed rating of the tires.

I had no idea my Terrain was such a "hot rod". Dang, guess I'll sell my C5 Corvette . What was I thinking, I bought it to tow behind my motorhome and also tow my 13' Scamp travel trailer, now I find out it's actually a race car in SUV clothing! Who would have "thunk" it????

Ahhh.. Your so cool with a Vette. ::)

PS - they aren't very impressive either. little 600cc sport bikes make those look slow... ;)
