Wow. How many miles?

I'm starting to sound like a broken record ... and I know this isn't "new" ... but car-part.com.

I guess they are hard to find because even car-part only shows two listings ... and that's cross-referencing to a 2017 Chevy Cruze Diesel ($600 in San Diego, and $Call for Price in Bowmanville Ontario)

What happened to yours? Not a Timing Chain? Or did it overheat?

90,000 I found out from the repair shop, he said that he was told there are a number of suv's with the same problem, the injectors lose the seal to the head and burn a hole side of the injector and you get exhaust coming up pass the injector, it is a head design flaw, they are remaking the heads and will ship out in aug-sept 2023, so it does not make any sense to get one from a low mile crash suv, you are going to have the same problem, if you know any one with the 1.6 diesel ,pull the engine cover , there is a noise barrier above the injectors pull that back and you will see carbon piling up around the injectors ,one was real bad the other injectors were starting to do the same thing, the amount of carbon that was on my daughters it was doing it when she got it.
