just did a belt and water pump replacement on an 05 3.4 and what I thought would be a 2 hour job turned into 4.
turns out there is 3/8 drive special tool for the spring loaded tensioner. usually a breaker bar or socket will work, but not enough space.
I bought a tool, but had to cut it so it could clear the frame. Motor mount has to come off too, but that is pretty easy and obvious.
after a few trips to a few stores, I was able to do it.
pump was relatively easy, but took plenty long to clean the surface.
