You can get the same info by phone... My point was that if you opt for the phone method, you will be limited to 2 requests for status information. Have you tried to get more than 2 updates using chat? It may or may not work, as they have to query the production coordinator at the site that the build is at. There was no online/immediate tracking information for the 2014 builds.

UM, this wasn't on the "phone". What are you referring to?

The "Chat Now" window is on the GMC.som website. It has nothing to do with talking on a phone. There is no mention of limits on order tracking.

I'm not sure how the chat process works, but my experience was that the phone request process will only be honored, at most, 2 times. The assistant will skillfully refuse to do any more lookups after you've hit the limit.

As of this date, GMConnects and Chevrolet.com/tracking are still not working.

If you wish to check on order status the easiest and fastest way I have found is to simply use the red "Chat Now" window at GMC.com or at the bottom of the page at Chevrolet.com. The GMC website has a chat "tab" at the far right of the web page and seems faster. They will check ANY GM Brand order status there at GMC.com.

When I ordered my 2011 Equinox, there were several different sites to track it on from order to completion. I have a 2014 'Nox on order now, and found out on the Chevy website it is now Queued for Production, but it gives me no details and I've had no luck with the GMConnects website working. It saddens me to see the CamaroTracking.com website is no longer up and running. I can't find a site that you can actually track an order with all of the codes now. Am I missing something?

Our car is inbound by rail and should be at the rail depot for offload in less than 24hrs 15 Aug 12 prior to midnight with a possible dealer delivery 16 Aug 12.

We now have a TPW of 8-6-12 for the build out of the Equinox, the wait is almost over.

Order updated on 7/4/12 and we are now @ code 3000.

Got an update from [email protected] and we are now @ 2000. Great news and we should be built sometime between the week of 6Aug12 and 13Aug12 which will put it before the Woodward Dream Cruise. Thanks to everyone who had a hand in helping move things along.
