It will never look right trying to touch that up. Like was stated above. Sand, fill, paint entire bumper.

im sure a repair shop would sand the plastic down--- and maybe use a filler--- and resand again (this to keep that bend/crease on the bumper)-- then-- primer- and repaint entire bumper

have a 2003 Trailblazer.
When it was delivered to me- it had a scratch on the lower portion of the bumper.

they told me to bring it back in a few days- and theyd correct it.

I thought it would be a simple touch up.. of that area.


it was sand the area-- to correct the scratch ---and repaint the ENTIRE bumper........

I was surprissed............

it was pewter(metallic) and they did an excellent job of color matching.

Advice on removing a bumper scratch

2016 LT1 3 months old 3k miles on it and my neighbor decides to abruptly open his car door as I was pulling up next to him in my parking space.
Would the dealership patch up paint help make this look better? Im open to all suggestions. Thank You
