Re: Welcome to TerrainForum, EquinoxForum and SRXForum!

I like most of the Terrain Body, the subtle changes are fine with me.

My question is WHY in 2016 did GM drop the Drivetrain Warranty down to 60,000 miles ?? from 100,000 Miles ??
I can get a NEW 2015 with the extra drivetrain warranty
most all Dealers around here ONLY have the I4, getting an I6 is a hunt.

also 90% of my driving will be city, not much highway driving around here, other than once a year for vacation !!

That's what most of my driving was in Upstate SC, nothing like city driving in Chicago, mostly 35-45 mph on country roads not much stop and go with a few trips to Columbia on I-85 around 275 miles round trip. Like Polorcub said the Terrain is a heavy CUV, I know the I-4 folks like theirs and the V6 people like theirs but if you ask some of the I-4 folks that went to the V6 most if not all would say they are happy with the V6.

New member just saying hello. Purchased a 2014 SLT on 4-8-17. I know how a forum can be a wealth of knowledge. Saw that thisnone was active and decided to jump in.

Welcome aboard Big Dave. I've been hanging around this site since I got my original new 2010 Terrain and there's not much you won't be able to find...and solve...from a lot of other very knowledgeable folks. Good luck with the new ride and feel free to explore the posts.

I'm still studying the Gen 1 Terrain, I like the body style better than the newer models. Just my preference.

I almost had a 2017 Terrain Denali with just over 10K miles on the V-6 w/fwd. Missed it..

I'm still researching & looking..
