Re: Welcome to TerrainForum, EquinoxForum and SRXForum!

Hi everyone!
My name is Lisa and I am new here and just purchased a 2015 SLT-1 Terrain, 6 cylinder. I read all the reviews, however I am still nervous spending so much money on an automobile. I am picking it up Friday and just need some reassurance that I am making the right decision that this car will last me a good long time. What have others' experiences been? I am so fearful because my last car needed so many repairs.
Thanks for helping me out!

P.S. I accidentally posted in general discussion first as I am learning my way around...

Hi everybody. Union carpenter here. Bought a union made 2013 gmc terrain I4 with 25000 miles. Love it. Had a 2002 jeep grand cherokee I6 did a lot of aftermarket parts on it. Sold it. To much work. Jeep are going down hill. First car was a toyota corolla 99. Love that car. Had it for 10 years. Over 200000 miles. Run good. I wrecked it. Low maintenance. Best car on the market.

Glad to have you onboard. Yes there are a great bunch of people on here. Just watch out for for Teetertotter if he stops by from the Acadia forum. He's a Packer fan. Lol

BearsFan:

I had a 2010 SLT I4 and now have a 2015 SLT v6. I personally really like the extra power and smoothness of the 6 over the four. Had nearly 120K on the '10 and it served me well. That's why I stayed with the Terrain! And the V6 gets better mileage than I ever thought. Going on long road trip tomorrow, so we'll see just how good it really is. Also like the SLT leather/audio upgrade/extra features over the SLE, but that's up to you.

Good luck and let us know what you decide!
