My 2019 Equinox Redline had about four automatic updates early on. Then one about four months ago.
This did not require any trips to the dealer, as it was all updated automatically.
Everything is working fine now. (15 months in service)
Doesn't your vehicle update automatically too? If so, it will end soon and probably won't need to be done as frequently in the future.
NOTE: I just read your other post that required service at the dealer after I submitted this post. This isn't the same type of issue as what I experienced.
