Check Engine Light

It came on 12/3/19, I went to AutoZone for the code, which is P0411 "Secondary Air Injection Incorrect Upstream Flow Detected, Replace Air Injection Hose" Made appointment with the dealer for last Friday 12/6/19. The light went off the day before my appointment and has not been on since. I canceled the appt for last Friday, but rescheduled for this Friday. According to the dealer, even though I have a code, they "cannot go by what Autozone says". Any thoughts or suggestions.

Thank,

Because I don't know what engine/year you have I can give you some generic advice.

I would replace the secondary air injection hose, clear all codes, and drive it.
There should be a check valve in or near the hose so replace that to.
If you get another code, you might have a problem with the Sec. Air Inj. Pump.

Or take it to the dealer or independent mechanic to have them diagnose and repair.

Would something like this be covered on the Emissions Warranty possibly?

For an Emission Warranty claim, a GM Dealer would have to diagnose the problem and do the repair.
This would depend on vehicle model year, engine, mileage, and the date the vehicle was put into service.
