2010 3.0 Camshaft Position Sensor

so sensor on top is new, bottom is old

Does the top one look like it is meant for the 4cyl? Or is it just that not OEM and still will work?

Sure looks like the 2.4L sensor. Looking at Rockauto sensors .... all the 3.0L sensors look like the OEM (straight block cylinder), but the 2.4L’s all have that “telescope” design.
