Thumbs down Extended warranty not a good buy

I just got 2019 GMC SLT for momma. It has 60K on PT and engine. They want 2400 to cover it till 75K with hundred deductible. what a rip.

Companies sell extended warranties because they make money from them. Sometimes someone gets lucky and they come out ahead. But if too many people did, the wouldn't sell them anymore.

my wife bought a warranty on her Nox.
She was worried it would break down like her Honda. (and her coworkers told her- its a GM.. they always break down).

Well, the odds were in the insurance co. favor.

And, the coworkers 'Imports' have broken down - while the Nox has not. Approaching 90,000.
