Navigation stuck on

Has anyone ran into this problem before? Every time I start the vehicle it shows on the main screen that navigation is starting then goes right into navigation mode. Have to hit the home button to get to the normal start screen every time. I have no routes programmed, have not set any destination to navigate to, so it shouldn't be on. Trying to figure out how to stop this from happening and just show the main home screen when you start up the vehicle. Am I missing something? Any suggestions to try would be greatly appreciated. It's driving me nuts!

Vehicle is a 2013 GMC Terrain Denali with the touch screen system. Reference image I grabbed online attached to show the system it has.

Did you try disconnecting the battery?
