Re: what are you guys getting MPG with the 4 cylinder?

I actually have less than 800 miles on my 4 cylinder AWD so it's too soon for me to comment on gas mileage. But I've been averaging a low of 20.1 to a high of 20.7. I'm using Eco mode and I predominantly drive in suburb conditions with two 45 minute highway trips.

Best was 28.5 on the highway. Would like a long trip on a 55 mph road and no AC in warm weather and see. I have 4500 miles on the Nox now

Less than 1000 miles on my 2011 I4 AWD. All city driving with lots of hills in <30 F temps and I'm getting around 18 MPG calculated. (I thought that was pretty good just one off the estimated, but it seems most here aren't happy with anything below 20, it's better than my Escape got)

Re: what are you guys getting MPG with the 4 cylinder?

Our LT has about 3500 miles on it now and the MPG is improving with each tank full.....the last tankful got 26.5 MPG with about 20% straight highway and the rest mixed. Haven't taken a complete highway only trip on a tankful, but I truly believe it will do 32 MPG, because on the last fill up, we drove to Atlanta and back (about 190 miles) and it was reading 29.7 MPG after returning home, so I think with a complete highway trip only, it will get the advertised 32 MPG, maybe even a little better. I am using the ECO mode.

Re: what are you guys getting MPG with the 4 cylinder?

We just finished a drive on the weekend from Vancouver BC to Grandmound WA 270miles each way.The average speed was 73mph less a hr wait at the boarder bumper to bumper traffic plus the same going south threw Seattle.
The 5 people in the Terrain added some weight with the ECO button we had a average of 9.1L per 100klm on the way south. Then 8.9L per 100klm on the way home, with a hour bumper to bumper north threw Seattle.
Not bad for the speed I thought. Also no cruise control due to traffic.

Now just over 7500klm on the speedo.

Re: what are you guys getting MPG with the 4 cylinder?

My best with the 4 cylinder was 30.4 on a 375 mile round trip (95% highway) and my worst was 22.9, mostly around town. The car has about 4000 miles on it, overall average is about 26 in mixed driving. I typically drive without eco. I'm certain I'll be able to hit 32 once it warms up and I change the oil to synthetic around 7500 miles.

I'm in pretty much the same exact situation. 18.2 MPG every tank so far, with 1700 miles. Granted it has been absolutely freezing here since the day I bought it, and I do have some hills on my daily commute.
