This makes me think that "not put enough miles on the car to charge the battery correctly" is the new go-to excuse. About a month after I bought my '18 Terrain the Lane Keep Assist feature stopped working. Why? Because, I was told, I didn't drive enough trips with many miles. The service rep actually said that in order to keep the battery charged that I would need to make multiple 90 mile one way trips each week. Yeah, right! They did replace the battery though, and admitted to no other changes. Lo and behold, without making any adjustments to the length my driving trips, which consists mostly of trips less than five miles with an occasional freeway trip of less than 15 miles, the LKA feature has been working fine since then.
