Seat Belt Chime Volume

We've just purchased a 2019 Terrain SLT and are really enjoying it. When we start the car, the seat belt chime goes off, and it is very loud. Is there any way to reduce the volume without actually turning it off? TIA :-)

Going from memory here. Chime vol is in the Comfort and Convenience Menu. Start the vehicle, push the Home Icon on the display panel, tap settings, tap vehicle, tap comfort and convenience and have at it. I may have missed a step, again from memory.

I'm retired so I had a couple of beers over a couple of days and RTFP in the owners manual. RTFP? Owners Manual? I'm a retired Master Technician, and the owners manuals are one of the least read books in the US! "Read The Fine Print". There are adjustments I never would have thought of!

Congrats on your new vehicle, I really like mine. '19 SLE with a few options.

Above is correct, but in my case, the volume adjustment had minimal impact. Still too loud for my taste.
