Replacing front struts

I'm considering replacing the front struts on my 2011 LT. I would like to use the V6 instead of the 4cyl.to gain clearance Anyone else try this?

both the 4 and 6 cyl use the same coils in the front.

what is different is the strut part #.

What I'm trying to correct is the front end seems to be lower than the rear on so many I see on the road. I would like to be fairly equal.

I believe this was mentioned before...

go online and do a search on equinox images and see how they look.

If it is... it could be the coils are tired- and have compressed.

Last week, saw my neighbors Pontiac.
It looked raised in the front----- it stood out.
I thought-- new coils? Struts?

I can see the suspension pieces are new-shiny.. so it did indeed raise the vehicle.

I was used to seeing it lower
