Rear sags

I have a 2013 Front Wheel Drive Equinox.

I'm a 100% Disabled Vietnam Veteran. Recently diagnosed with Parkinson's Disease caused by Agent Orange exposure👎.

I've received a power wheelchair ♿️ from the VA along with a Power Lift installed on the rear of my Equinox. When I load my chair the rear Sags a few inches. It's enough so that the chair and lift hanging off the back occasional drags when crossing deep dips in the roadway.

How can I Beefup my rear suspension to bring it back to original height

FIRST, WELCOME HOME, & THANKS FOR YOUR SERVICE.

You might want to look into either AIRBAGS or AIR SHOCKS. You can google them to see who might sell them. If you have a local shop or dealership that does your service work you might check with them.

mrdon - Thank you for your allegiance to our country. I feel bad that you are now paying big-time for your devotion. '

I guess the good news is that you returned - several of my friends did not.

May God Bless You.

Thank you VERY much for your service.

You might want to check your existing shocks. Mine were blown and leaking when i first purchased my '14 and was told by my uncle who has about 10 of these he services that he sees it a lot.

theres nothing to fix--- with the install itself.

simply the weight of the chair- and its sticking out from the rear that causes the sag.

the stuff linked below would be the correction.

2013 Equinox LT1 3.6L V6 FWD 88,000
2010 Traverse LT1 3.6L V6 FWD 153,000

They added the weight, maybe they should add heavy duty springs and/or shocks.
