Equinox Rear Taigate Black Accent Mod - - Opinions?

I am thinking of doing a partial black out of the Equinox tailgate trim piece.

This is just a crude photo mock up.

One is with the original gold bowtie and the last is with trim and blowtie blacked out.

What say you? Still contemplating so opinions welcome!

Well, this maybe something you could live with, albeit a bit expensive.

I personally do not like the blacked out bowtie but the middle picture does not look too bad and better than stock in my opinion. It gives the cross piece more dimension and looks like a shadow. But I agree with t923347 as I also purchased a 2016 to get away from the full chrome piece of trim. Ok, maybe the 3.6 also influenced me a little, and the driving light update maybe a little icing on the cake, but definitely the new trim on the rear end.

Yeah.. . where did you think I got the idea from.? .. LOL

I don't really want the body colored paint however, plus I am a frugal guy . . .

You'd have to tie it in with black out door handles, and wheels.

#3 is my favorite. Looks best with the black bowtie imo
