USB can't shuffle artists

I have a 2014 Terrain and when I use the USB it can only shuffle through the artists/songs once. If I go through the settings and manually select an artist I can list to that one band's songs. ButI can never get it to shuffle back through all of the other artists in the USB, it will continue to play only one artists songs. The only way I can reset it is if I add/delete songs from the USB and it has to re-read it again. Any ideas on how to fix this issue?

Instead of selecting an artist or album, select songs and then any song. You should then be able to select random and play all songs. Works on mine for the 9500+ songs on my thumb drive.
