I had a new sound system installed into my 2019 equinox and later on that night I noticed a high pitch feedback coming through all the speakers and the tweeter in the dash. It’s relatively quiet and does not get louder with increased volume or driving, but will continue to ring/buzz when the car is first turned off. When I brought my car back to the audio place they told me the noise was caused from the antenna for the internet and figured that out because the noise stopped when they unplugged the antenna. Has anyone ever heard of this and are there any solutions to my issue? The solution they gave me was crazy and was to re wire the volume controls so the wires weren’t by the antenna. I had alpine type r speakers installed (r65.2c with a tweeter in the front), 12” sub, 5 channel alpine type r amp with a bass knob, and a LC7i audio control. My 2019 Equinox is a 2.0 liter premier edition no Bose.
