2013 Terrain SLE1 Stock Radio Updates?

I was curious if there was anyways of updating my radio in my car. GM wont even offer the service to me at the dealership.

Weird. Don't know why they won't update it. They can make money. You can find someone who programs modules. If you were in the Chicago-Land area, I am a mobile programmer.

I have been trying to find the same for my 2014 sle1
I see some people say they have had it done but I have had zero luck

Is it possible to swap out the unit with a newer model radio that technically fits? I know the computer has to be reprogrammed to my vin but is this doable?

Part number has to be compatible to the car or else the radio won't be able to be programmed with the correct software. Also, the radio has to be new or "virginized". You can't use used modules on Terrains/Equinoxes/etc.
