The WAZE app is now available as a download from the Google store for Android phones. This newest version is Auto Play friendly and is NOT the Beta version, but the finally released version!

Apple does not allow the downloading of 3rd party apps from what I have read on different forums, so this only works with the Android phones. Once downloaded you now have a choice of using either Google Maps or Waze when running Auto Play.

I drove for about an hour today with the new Waze and the only problem I see is that I can't see too many of the street names on the map. Very small print and too large of an area showing on the map. I tried zooming in but that reverts back to the normal view after a few seconds.

You can report police presence and accidents through Auto Play now when connected and using the Waze app.
