2018 2.0L SLT oil leak and hesitation

Noticed a few spots of oil under my terrain the other day. looks like it coming from up around the oil filter area. Anyone else have this problem? only 5400km on it. Also noticed when starting after a couple of hours shut off it has a hesitation/misfire for about 15 seconds of driving then it's fine. have an appointment for tomorrow to get it checked out.

I haven't had either of those issues.

Have you had an oil change? Is it possible they didn't install the filter properly? Dealer/warranty should resolve. Let us know the outcome.

No, haven't had any service as of yet. I'll find out tomorrow I guess.

I would hand tighten the oil filter. It may have been improperly torqued and loosened over time.

With respect to a misfire; that should throw a code. Is your check engine light on?

Let us know what the dealer finds.

Good Luck.

Oil Leak was a oil pump flow control valve. Parts on order. They couldn't find anything with the misfire. Probably didn't leave it sit long enough. Maybe I'll lave it there overnight next time. No codes present

Mine is doing the exact same thing. Seems like after sitting for awhile, the shift between 1 and 2nd gear is way off. Exactly how you explained it. Also, my car is leaking oil... a 2018 vehicle and I’m dealing with this... I have never had anything happen on a new vehicle before. Not happy.

No oil leak here, but the 1-2 shift is a one-way clutch thats why it feels that way. Better than the ZF trans
