I just finished installing some chrome door handles on my 2011 Equinox 2LT. IMO it ties all the chrome together without adding too much chrome.
I got the OEM door handles from my local dealer ($139, no gmpartsdirect in Canada, and online prices were the same as the dealer). Super easy install; the handles came with instructions, and took about 15-20 minutes total to do all the doors.
The pictures don't do them justice--they look awesome =D.
Chrome pillars I think would be too much for me, but I do want to chrome up my roof rails. I also want to add the footwell convenience lighting, and maybe LED-up my interior lighting ;D.
And if I could change one thing about my nox, it would be a new engine to get rid of the startup rattle... Thankfully no stalls or bad mileage yet! Otherwise I love it. Got rid of a 2007 Buick Rendezvous, and there is just NO comparison between the two.
IMO the roof rails being a different color would make this nox look more upscale. The door handles were a good start and better than stock but when I see a car with chrome roof rails it usually signifies a better trim package and might help your eventual resale. Everyone is a critic so do what you like, either way your car still looks good!
I have a Black Nox. My dealer installed the mirror covers and the door handles. Looks like a mini limo! :thumb:
