My 2019 2.0T LT Blue Steel

Very pleased with how my beautiful new car turned out. Badger as a Holden in Australia but I added tinted windows and had the standard mag wheels painted gloss black.

I have purchased The following accessories that I look forward to fitting this weekend:
*Weather shields
*Bonnet protector
*Headlamp protectors
*Mudflaps

Considering getting a stubby antenna but am concerned the reception will suffer.

Hope you like the picture will take better ones once I’ve added the extras.

Don't you have a shark fin antenna ? Why would you want a stubby ?

You have to look real close at his pic, but it looks like he has the older style long antenna.

Good eyes ! I thought the shark fin was standard from '18 on.

Actually you are probably right, I think the OP's vehicle was built by Holden in Australia.
Need the VIN to be sure.

The equinox in Australia even the 2020 does not have a shark fin antenna.

Any thoughts on the car so far itself? Ideas for improved look?

That's long for a roof mounted antenna.

I'd black-out the chrome around your window trim. And wrap the side mirrors black to get a cohesive look.

The front grill chrome is okay

Garage
How much did it cost for you to get them painted?

I pretty much have the same plans as you, alongside maybe blacking out the silver pieces with either wrap or plastidip (I used it so much on my Lancer lol)
