Hi Jayss01... I think you'll love your Equinox, we sure do like ours!

I've had our 2018 since April of this year, and already have over 12,000 miles on it. Just got back from a trip from Omaha NE to Phoenix AZ and back - over 3400 miles total. Average mileage for the whole trip was 29.6 mpg. This included around town driving for nearly 3 weeks while there. On the highway portions of the trip, it was very interesting to watch the mileage change with the different brands and octanes of fuel used along the way. I tried to stop at Love's stations as those seemed to give me the best milage, with 33+ being about what I'd get with their fuel (all highway). The worst was from a Pilot station in Kansas. After filling up at one in Hutchinson KS, I was getting a little over 26 mpg highway!
I did not fill with 91 octane at any stop, as the price differences were horrible. Now that I'm home I will use 91, since I won't be going through two tanks a day!
Enjoy your 'Nox!

Interesting about the difference in gas stations. Ive had mine since the end of September and have put about 1800 miles on it mainly driving far places on the weekend and i have been surprised by the overall good gas mileage i have gotten. Like you said i have gotten over 30mpg's consistently on the highway and pretty good mpgs around town.
