DRL issue

My passenger side daytime running lights work when the headlights automatically turn on, but the passenger side goes out when the lights are off. When switching the lights on and off, the passenger side gets bright like the drivers side for less than a second and then goes out. Any help would be appreciated.

Don't mean to ignore you but your DRL's are completely different than my 2014.
Hope someone with a 2016 wiring schematic will help you out.
