2021 trailblazer ?

any ideas on what itís replacing? or will it be yet another model in the lineup. looks very similar to the current blazer. it doesnít appear to be just a trim package because it comes in several trim levels. i like the interior better than the current blazer, i wasnít a fan of the vents in the blazer. ill probably be due for a vehicle next year so it may be a consideration

I thought this was a replacement for the Trax? Small, 4-cylinder engine with a turbo, nothing I’d be interested in.

2011 Equinox 1LT (new Jan 2011): Summit White / 3.0 L V6 / FWD / Pioneer Stereo / 18" Wheels / 138.2k miles [05-NOV-2019]

2002 Impala 1LT (new Jun 2002): Summit White / 3.4 L V6 / FWD / Cassette-CD Combo /225.5k miles [05-NOV-2019]

Seems to actually be a three cylinder turbo with a CVT transmission. Under $20k to start out with. Maybe just a small notch above the Trax. Hard to tell where made.

It is in between the Trax and the Nox. Same size as the Buick Encore GX which is a tad bigger than the Encore.

Unfortunately another import (South Korea) in the Chevrolet lineup. I'm out!

I think the idea is to fill a gap, not replace anything. GM seems to think they need something between the Trax and Equinox. I wouldn't buy one unless they offer an engine upgrade, Trailblazer SS maybe with the 2.0 turbo?

CVT is only on the FWD models. The AWD models get a traditional 9-speed auto.

This trend of automakers going to 3-cylinder engines is getting a little disturbing.

Talk about disturbing - My outboard only has 2 cylinders and produces 4.5 HP !

2010 Equinox LTZ 2.4 L 4 cyl, FWD, S/R Cardinal Red/Black

agreed. my snowmobile is a 3 cylinder with a cvt and 130hp... that where my desire for that configuration ends. Although with the way things have been trending it was only a matter of time. the equinox went from a 2.4L to a 1.5L as the standard engine, it only makes sense that a smaller suv would use a yet even smaller engine. Iím still curious to see how all these small turbo engines go up long term, i love my 2.0t but kinda wish the 3.6 would have been an option as i feel that a naturally aspirated motor has less stress and will inevitably last longer providing they are both of the same build quality
