Switched power fuse tap 2019 Equinox

We have a new 2019 Equinox LT, and would like to mount a gps, that powers on and off with the ignition, using an Tap a fuse, just as we had on our 17 Buick.

Which fuse location should we use for switched power in the interior fuse box by the drivers left side?

thanks

i would use the one for the accessory power outlet (cigarette lighter plug) this way if it would ever short or cause interference itís not causing it with any electronics in the vehicle. ive done this on many vehicles and thatís always the fuse i choose

Fuse # 37 is switched, it is the cig lighter under the radio. I put a fuse tap in and a ground wire, It works fine for my gps. Power goes on with the starter button, and off when the drivers door opens.

thanks

For clarity, this is the fuse block under the left side of the instrument panel (above the foot rest). Fuse #37 on the fuse block in the engine compartment is for the left high-beam headlamp. Two different fuses for two different purposes, yet the same number.
