Lease + Hitch + Bicycle Hauling

Good morning.

Do lease terms cover installation of a hitch? I am looking through papers and cannot see anything say about it.
I would like an independent shop to install a basic hitch (no harness, just a hitch) to which I would attach a rack/mount to haul my bicycle. I am like sick of seeing another scratch on those plastics inside my Equinox.
Any advice?

I know mods are not allowed, but a hitch may fall into a different category. I would call the dealer and ask.

The dealer won't know, they're not the lease holder...

Hitches are bolt on items so just make sure you take it off before you turn it back in..

I read that the rear plastic needs to be trimmed to install factory style hitches. It is possible some aftermarket models may mount under the rear plastic and not require cutting.
