While I've only had our 2018 Premier for about a week I'm pretty pleased with it.. I do think it's well worth it to buy the Premier model and the 2.0T which is what we bought... I agree that the 1.5 is a good power plant but, it's a bit wimpy for the Equinox, it does well in the Malibu which is what the Equinox replaced... My main selling point on the Premier was the leather seats, I find them a lot more comfortable than then LT seats...

For what it's worth the car is mostly for my wife, my current ride is a 2016 Silverado 4x4 5.3 V8.. While it won't overtake the pickup as my favorite car in the garage it's a really nice vehicle and I enjoy driving it..

Previous rides have been: 2016 Malibu, 2014 GMC Sierra, 2014 Mazda 6, 2011 Mazda 3, 2008 Mazda 3, 2008 Honda Civic, 1998 Ford Escort & 95 Ford Taurus..

We're both in our Mid 30s , no kids yet but, two big goofy dogs that fit nicely in the back of the equinox with a good seat cover of course..

Well, the deal is done. I traded my Rav in on an Equinox. Cajun Red '18 Lt FWD with the driver confidence and convenience package. Should be picking it up on Thursday. I went with the 1.5T since it actually feels like a step up from the Rav and gets better fuel economy.

On straight highway, I get about 35 MPG with my 1.5L AWD. You should be in the upper 30s. The engine is amazingly efficient.

That is one of the reasons I went with the Nox. Better fuel economy than my Rav by at least a couple mpg. The Nox we have in our pool car lot has averaged 32 mpg in mixed driving although I'm sure it is biased to hwy miles.
The best average I have been getting from the rav is about 29mpg but usually closer to 27-28.

We're extremely happy with our 2018 Premier diesel. Would buy again. I probably will grab an LT diesel when my VW TDI finally dies.
