Wow, I was just in my 2019 premier to set up the navigation with a couple of addresses and i was having a hard time. I am in the 3 month free period and on march 29 i will pay on star for the year. I called on star from the car to find out why i have a problem. Like others have stated, i think they made this nav system harder to use than what I had in my 2016, 2013 and 2011 equinox's. The operator said you have to input the address on your phones chevy app and send it to the car. But he also said the nav is tied into on star so if you don't buy the service you have no nav. If this is true then GM bamboozled us. Also, i may have missed it, but i do not see an icon that says HOME. Then he asked if i wanted to use a hotspot-which i will not pay for on top of everthing else. I think on star and Gm figured out a way to get get mor money out of buyers.
I may just go back and lay the old garmin on top of the dash and use that.
Then I came back in the house and saw all these negative posts and i felt good==lol
