But since my 'Nox after discounts was 31K, and it costs 21K more for the SRX I'd want, it was sadly a no go. haha.

I chose the Nox because the SRX was out of my price comfort zone....and the Terrain was just released and in short supply. (my dealer only had one, and it was already pretty much sold) Also, at the time I felt that the Terrain looked like it was trying to be something that a 4cyl, front wheel drive unibody CUV just isn't. The looks have grown on me since though..

We traded in a Dodge Nitro R/T which was sharp looking, but decided to go more towards the Equinox look than the Terrain. If we had not had the Nitro, the Terrain may have been our pick.

You know, it's funny. When the Terrain was first introduced, I didn't like it. I thought the body style was too boxy, but in time it has grown on me, and today I voted for it. As others have stated, the SRX would be the obvious choice if it wasn't for the cramped interior.
