Didn't really need another car but couldn't pass on the deal.

That .. . is amazing on a brand new 2018.

I'v e known about Laura for quite awhile now. Did not know about the $4,500 GM discount that GM had for awhile.

Still puzzled why GM is discounting so steeply on brand new 2018's this early. Kind of understand it on the Cruze and Malibu sedans since they were not selling well. But on a Terrain. . .. wow.

Look again - it was a '17, not an '18. But still a good deal.

Yes. . . it was 2017. Laura has 2018 Terrains listing for $30K and $6,700 off. Still a lot off for a brand new model year.

Was just checking some prices paid and came across this one. To me, that invoice number seems awfully/artificially high: $28k (dealer cost?) for a ‘17 FWD SLE-1 base model with the I-4 engine? So that means the Monroney sticker showed $30k or higher (for a “strippo” I-4)? Hard to believe.

But a Monroney sticker of $24k less the ~$6k discount and less the ~$4k GM Card discount for a purchase price of $14k sounds about right. Did GM artificially jack the stickers up on these things *that* much from 2010 to 2017 (or was it just the Terrains?)

To me, that $4500 GM discount sounds like “smoke and mirrors” applied to an inflated “Dealer Invoice”.

Last I checked just before the Holidays, there were still a ton of brand new ‘17 I-4 Equinoxes sitting on dealer lots (didn’t check Terrains). I think this buyer *actually* got a 25% discount (which is good), but I bet you can do even better now - 2 months later (if you want to take the risk with an I-4 - especially on the lower end trims)

2011 Equinox 1LT (new Jan 2011): Summit White / 3.0 L V6 / FWD / Pioneer Stereo / 18" Wheels / 138.2k miles [05-NOV-2019]

2002 Impala 1LT (new Jun 2002): Summit White / 3.4 L V6 / FWD / Cassette-CD Combo /225.5k miles [05-NOV-2019]
