Lots of variables here, tires being a big one.
One thing I have noticed is the trim level you selected makes a big difference.
For example, my LTZ has a large amount of insulation up under the dash.
There is a large, thick layer glued to the back of the glove box where the HVAC motor is.
What trim level did you test drive?
Perhaps the SLT or Denali would be better.
