Terrain 2019 hole in exaust system

Hi !

I have a hole in my exaust system. Do you have that on your 2019 Terrain?

I hear the air coming out of the holes. Is it a defect?

Thank'S!

Not a defect. This is a weep hole which is designed to let the water that condenses inside the muffler to escape.

If that hole is on your muffler, it's to drain out moisture/condensation to prevent rust-out of the muffler when short driving cycles don't allow enough heat to vaporize all of the moisture in said muffler.
